A controversial new law in the United Kingdom, especially in England, will start summer 2007. The new law completely prohibits smoking in all public place and actually follows the ban on in Wales and Scotland. The smoking ban has already been that in countries like the United States, Spain and the Republic of Ireland. The vote to adopt the new legislation actually took place in February 2006 and has since received much attention.

The smoke-free legislation is to be expected that the impact on businesses, their customers are smokers. The places to be taken by the new law is essentially completed and enclosed public places and work. Many residents are concerned that the overall impact on the economy arising from the ban. But overall, many experts believe that the smoking ban have very little impact on the economy.

Nearly 75 percent of the residents of the United Kingdom and non-firms are actually able to benefit from the new law more than non-smokers are now going to advance from the smokers.
