women and heart disease symptoms

More than 25% of all women in the United States have some form of heart disease. This disease is likely to be overlooked or misdiagnosed by doctors often.

More women die from heart disease than men each year. It is often misdiagnosed, because women show different symptoms than men do when a heart attack. Men generally complain of severe pain in the chest. This is a classic sign of a heart attack and is taken very seriously by the physicians and hospitals. Women are more likely to cause nausea, indigestion, shortness of breath and fatigue. Women are less likely to view the emergency room if they experience these symptoms because they are not aware that after a heart attack. Even experienced practitioners sometimes ignore these symptoms and assume it is something else, such as anxiety or fatigue.

If you smoke, have high cholesterol, are not gainfully employed, under stress, or obese, you are at a higher risk for heart disease. If you have diabetes, you also have much more risk of a heart attack. Search Notversorgung show immediately if you experience any symptoms such as nausea, stomach pain, pressure in the chest or shortness of breath and fall into the category of high risk. Even fifteen minutes delay can be the difference between life and death, when the heart is not damaged.

Ask your doctor to give you the standard tests as well as an exercise echocardiogram. You can also make a scan computer tomography (CT) or MRI. It is better to be safe and have these tests to find out later than that permanent damage to your heart.
