heart disease affects many people in our society. In fact, it is the disease that killed more people than any other. Many experts have told us that there are connections between high cholesterol and heart disease. But the number of people are affected by this, is always high, and despite the health professional to tell us constantly, we do not always seem all healthier.

One of the main reasons is our diet. The diet of the average American or Western Europe is not good. It tends to fill with food containing a high proportion of bad fats and processed and not fresh. Most doctors agree that eating a diet, the fresh fruit and vegetables, grains and lean protein is good for us. Why do we not only eat well and live longer? One of the main reasons is the advertising that we have for food, the processed food we buy. Many people do not want to be without the food they like and never really on a healthy diet.

But there is no reason that you may have on all the food that you like, even the really evil! It is really a question of moderation. If your diet is basically good, then it may be less chance that you get high cholesterol and heart disease. That does not mean that you are not for a burger and beer on weekends, when you diet is good and balanced by the rest of the week. Of course it would be better if your food was good the whole time. But even if it only looks good most of the time, then this may mean that your chances of theses diseases can be reduced.

Also, there is no reason to believe that you need to be fun as going out for a drink. Of course, it is not good, too much to drink regularly, but that does not mean that you need to total up to drink. Some recent research has suggested that beverages such as wine, can have a positive effect on health when consumed in moderation. It is good to try to improve the way that you live, even if you are not big changes, it may still be a really good impact on your health. But before you make any changes to your diet, it is a good idea to see your doctor.
