It seems that every time we then on the TV, we hear news about the increase of diabetes in the United States. It is not surprising that one of the main causes for the increase in diabetes is due to the obesity problem. Obesity is not only a rise in diabetes, but it also contributes to heart disease, strokes and heart attacks. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has reported that cases of diabetes have enormously in recent years. What is the number one reason for this? overweight.

The Surgeon General has also said that as a nation, the number of overweight adults and children are 50% higher than just 10 years old. This led to a massive increase in type 2 diabetes, which until that point was an adult onset form of diabetes. Not more, children of all age groups, type-2-diabetics.

Other recent studies have shown that all children born after 2000, more than one third of them develop type 2 diabetes in their lives. This form of diabetes can lead to kidney failure, blindness, stroke and heart disease among others. It is a serious problem.

What is the creation of some of these problems? The answer is very simple. It is how we eat. Most of all fast-food meal once or twice a week at a minimum. Fast food is full of everything that is not healthy. High fats, carbohydrates and calories lead to weight gain and thus the increased risk of getting diabetes. Fast food should be avoided, or at least only an occasional meal.

Together with the fast-food, the soda. Fast-food restaurants and shops now to monster size for all beverages to consume. 48 ounces or 64 ounces soda cups are now commonplace, wherever you go. The sugars and carbohydrates such beverages are enormous. The results? More and more children getting diabetes just by drinking too much soda. (Some schools are now removing soda machines from schools due to this epidemic)

Another factor that must be mentioned is the lack of an exercise that most people do not get. Did you know that by just for a walk for 30 minutes, 3 times per week can the onset of diabetes? Exercise helps prevent heart disease and many other health concerns. Even if you only walk at a slow pace, that's ok. Any type of exercise is to help. You can use the small and work up to a higher level. With the loss of only 5% of the fat bodies, you can avoid a diabetic.

Keep trained diabetes. Even if you're not even in danger, know the signs to look for in your family. Most people do not know that drinking one gallons of soda every day will lead to diabetes. They do not understand that these super-sized hamburgers with a carbohydrate meal is likely to contribute to the risk of diabetes. By understanding the causes of a diabetic can be a long way in preventing attacks that in you and your family.
