Through numerous studies, it was found that the best kind of chocolate to take for your health is the dark bitter variety. A group of Swiss researchers suggests that eating this kind of chocolate on a daily basis is very beneficial.

The experimental group consisted of people who begin smoking, but apparently not with health problems to treat. The test subjects had at a few guidelines in order for researchers to view the results they needed.

Additional tests showed that a decrease in incidents and blockages of blood was from the first observations. The risk for these events were significantly decreased. It was also shown that white chocolate does not have the same properties or results than darker versions.

This is probably because dark chocolate has a high level of antioxidants per gram of substance. These values are higher than other popular foods, including green tea, some fruit and red wine.

There is no doubt about the amount of helpful and healthy antioxidants in a piece of chocolate. The reason that it is often seen as an undesirable food is due to the large amounts of fats, chocolate possesses. The levels of glucose can also be unhealthy characteristic. If this type of sweet is consumed at a high rate, numerous other problems, such as obesity and diabetes.
