chronic ischemic heart disease

human body is a complex machine. There are many organs of the body and the most important organ is the heart. It helps the person to breathe and live. Heart disease is a commonly used term for a number of different diseases, the heart. These can range from coronary, ischemic heart disease and inflammatory diseases of the heart itself, to hypertensive heart disease (caused by high blood pressure) and heart disease Heart (a general term for a number of diseases that affect the heart itself and / or the blood vessels, especially the veins and arteries). Certain heart diseases can also be due to hereditary factors or by congenital defects of the heart.

Apart from diseases of the heart itself, there are risk factors, the chances of a person developing heart disease. Some of these risk factors, such as inheritance or older, is more than one person € ™ s control. However, other factors such as obesity, physical inactivity leads a life with high blood pressure and smoking can be controlled.

Some of the conditions associated with cardiovascular diseases are atherosclerosis (also called hardening of the arteries), arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries, where because of the narrow building â € "â € called plaque from cholesterol and fat) and angina pectoris (where there is pain in the heart due to insufficient blood supply). In extreme cases, heart disease can also lead to an often-fatal heart attack (when a blood clot or other blockage cuts blood flow to a part of the heart) or a stroke, if a part of the brain is not sufficient blood supply by a burst blood vessel or a clot.

Medical science has found many high-tech and often expensive, methods for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. These are usually invasive techniques. However, the common theme â € ~ that prevention is better than cureâ € ™ applies to cardiovascular disease, particularly for atherosclerotic heart disease, the biggest killer. Some of these preventive measures are diet and lifestyle changes to control high blood pressure (which is the heart work harder); control of diabetes (increased the chance of heart disease), cholesterol and triglycerides (clog the arteries) and to maintain a healthy weight.

Symptoms of severe heart disease or even a heart attack can vary. However, common warning signs may be pain or discomfort in the chest or other areas of the torso including the arms, back, neck, stomach and jaw, shortness of breath, feeling of powerlessness, fear sweat, nausea, etc. The symptoms may vary. Therefore, if you have any doubts, it is advisable to provide emergency aid, preferably in a span of five minutes.
