The Asian or Japanese eggplant (brinjal) is bright purple, thin and straight with a slight bow to the ground and has a tender, slightly sweet flesh. Most eggplants are, however, glossy dark purple or nearly black.
Blueberries are white or pale-green flesh, a deep-blue skin with a waxy sheen and vary in size and shape.
Plums can be divided into two categories: for cooking plums and prunes, which are eaten fresh. The latter has a higher sugar content and are juicier, whereas cooking is sour plums and often have dry skin and hard skin. European plums have skin color from green-yellow to deep blue, whereas Japanese varieties are usually larger with predominantly red skin tones, although some yellow skin.
